09/09/10 - 10/09/10 2D1N JB shopping outing! * LONG POST*

It is a rare chance! Our coll - Jac invited us to go Johor Bahru for a shopping trip with offer to sleep overnight at her place - actually her in law house.

09/09/10 - 6pm
We left office at around 610pm. We had planned to leave at 6pm sharp but being able to leave at 610pm is an achievement too! Haha.. Gerry's HB had offered to fetch and sent us to the custom. So nice of him!
We reached the Woodland causeway at around 645pm. Jac wasnt here yet. She called when we were on the way that she just left office! Thus, we cleared the custom and went down to the bus waiting area to join the queue. Actually we could have board the bus before she reached. Yes! We were all surprise! There were not of any long queue. Even Jac herself was very surprise! Haha.. She said we must have pray before we came.

around 730pm
We reached M'sia custom and yes.. no queue still. We cleared the custom together with Jac. Initially she was commenting that she shall wait for us at City Square while we cleared the custom. Haha.. Her wish wasnt granted.
Soon enough her husband came to fetch us. Hanks was introduced and we were brought to City Sqaure for dinner. He parked the car, we left the bags in the car and off we go. We were brought to Wan Sai - Hongkong cafe for dinner. I think it should be the same one as SG but taste wise is abit different. He treated us dinner, refuse to accept $$ from us. After dinner, he left to cafe with his laptop while Jac brought us to shopping.
I made the first purchase! Haha.. a tee shirt - RM$20
Then we went to Padini concept store where the ladies bought tee shirts at cheap rate from RM$9 to shoes at RM$69.90 I think . Gerry went to get shoes from Summit too. The last stop, Jac showed us the mooncake she got for her MIL. A very nice peranakan style packaging (photo in FB). Me and YK bought one set of the treasure box each instead.
By then most shops were closed! Haha.. In fact we were the last customers for the mooncake and they actually left with no cash and we were requested to pay via Credit cards. With that, Jac managed to get another 10% off for us. Nv know that She is a good bargainer!

around 10pm
Then we met up with her HB to get to the car. He brought us to this night bazar which is near to City sqaure but exact location, I am not sure. He said it is within walking distance from city sqaure. This night bazaar is open everyday but that night was super crowded as it was Hari Raya eve. It was just like our chinatown during CNY eve. There were lots of crocs shoes/sandals for sales at super cheap rates. Some we think shld be fake, some shld be auth which were rejected goods. Price were cheap! Gerry got a pair of sandals for her son (she said keep for future use) at only RM$5, I got a pair for Mr Tay at RM$50. It is the shoes kind. It come in the crocs cloth bag, not plastic bag!! Hanks gotten the same pair too. There wasnt any size 12 left so Gerry tried her luck at another store for a pair for her HB. We went back to the 1st store, she got it but no cloth bag however cos its over 12am and bargaining were so much easier she got hers at RM$45. We were saying that cloth bag cost RM$5! Hahaha...

10/9/10 - 12+MN
We went back to her inlaw place. It is a nice 3 storey high semi detached house. Her inlaw should be sleeping liao. We went up quietly to the 3rd storey where their bedroom and where we were be sleeping at. We presented her with our 'VISITATION GIFTS' - a box of poeny Jade Yam mooncake, 2 bottles of Moscato and some snacks for the doggies too! As usual, expected her reaction. Haha.. Then we drop the stuffs, change to shorts and off we were brought to eat supper. YES EAT AGAIN! haha... Its Ah piao wanton mee. This is the place where we come also for supper with my friends / Mr Tay's friends. I think location is behind the 大马巴刹. Purpose coming here also to show YK what is lok lok and the taste of it! haha.. Again he denied our $$ for the wanton mee and drinks. Luckily we managed to pay the lok lok.

2+AM - 3AM+
we were back at home finally! Waiting for our turns to bath. Jac opened a bottle of white wine which I cant recall the name of it. Only know its product of USA. It is very nice! smooth to drink and yet not too sweet. Then we went to bed ard 3+am, chasing her to sleep too. It had been a long time since I slept on a mattress on the floor with friends. Ma chaim camping sia! haha...

10/9/10 - 8+am
Woke up around this timing. Went down to see her dogs. So cute! I love the B-gal. Boy boy is too noisy liao. Wash up, change, went down to greet her in laws and off we go for breakfast cum lunch! Ba Ku teh at dunno where. I only know it is nearer to 2nd link. Nice one! with needle mushroom, tau pau, you tiao. They ordered
some pig trotters too. This meal cost RM$75 for 6 pax. She only accepted RM$10 from each of us.

11am
We reached the shopping centre around this timing. I dunno what is the name of the shoppin centre. Only know there is Jusco in it and also Daiso (which we never see leh). Bcos it was Hari Raya, JUSCO was not open till 1pm so we went for OLD TOWN coffee. We drank and chatted for a while before we go shopping, Jac's HB went off to the inlaw new place which is near the shopping centre. There we took our one and only pic during this trip! Haha.. It was insisted by Gerry for this pic to be taken otherwise no picture at all. We shopped various shoes shops, F.O.S outlets, brands outlets, had A & W for snack (too full for lunch), bought a hush puppy plush toy for Joe.


5+pm
Around 5+pm the HB came to fetch us to the new house.
Its a new estate I think. Quite a no. of units were still empty. It is like a condo area but filled with bunglow and semi D houses. There is only one in and out opening with security. There are swimming pools, playgound and basketball courts. Since there are facility, there is maintance fee - RM$170 monthly. There is also a jetty area where houses with their own speed boat can use. Jac said it lead to SG sentosa area. Their hse is a corner SEMI D. Heard the in law bought 2 untis but sold the other one when prices were good. It is very BIG as compare to their current living one. This one is a 2 storey SEMI D but with a huge garden area. The pouch area can park 4-5 cars (mind you their cars are all big cars - Toyota Harrier and Mitsuitshi Prejo). The in law bedroom is about 2 of my bedroom, excluding a walk in wardrode which is ard my bedroom size and there is still a toilet with a single pax jaccuzi tub! The balacony area is also ard my bedroom size! There we played with the new batteried operated motorbike and bicycle, walk around the estate. The FIL said he want to treat us dinner! So around 7pm, we went for dinner. It was quite a nice dinner where we had quite light hearted moments with the family.

9+PM
After dinner, we bidded goodbye and thanks them for their hosting and we were brought back to the old house to get our stuffs. We were sent back to city square where I did last min shopping before popping over to the custom. I bought another set of mooncake - the pernakan style set and a baby milo polo tee. We reached SG around 1030pm.
It was a tiring but super fun filling tip.
We were saying dun mind to go for another round but maybe just a day trip. Dun want to bother Jac and her family.

I went movie with Mr Tay and 2 of his friends last friday. It is my first time to meet one of them, the one had seen but no conversation make.
I am trying to be as friendly as possible but still I feel out of place.
After the show, we went down the escalator and off they turn out of the building to smoke.
I feel being deserted! I dun like this feeling at all. It is not the first time such thing had happened. I realise whenever his friends are around, he forget about me! Yes! I agreed you tend to get crazy when all of your buddies are around but U cant be forgetting u got a wife and simply forget about her presense.
I am not saying that you cant get crazy, at least let me know. Not just turn n go MIA, while ur wife is there, beside u, not familiar with the rest and dunno where u had gone to?! Sound like an idiot right?!
I speak my mind to him that night after his friends left.
The journey back home remain silent and all the way till we reached home.
I do not know if he is angry or digesting what I am saying.
Anyway I dun feel that I am in any wrongs when I speak that.

On Sunday, we went to the airport to send off a friend of his - he is going USA for studies for 4 years!
With his big bunch of buddies again.
This time round, I feel that he just stick by my side, like not being himself. ( I think he is reminding himself of what I said on friday nite)
When they went out to smoke, he looked at me and I got to shoo him to go with them.

I wonder will he left me out for all their future gathering in order not to place himself in a difficult spot?
or rather he will not go for such gathering if he can sense the tendency that I will be neglected again.

I think he had mistaken my message across.

Hai.. I think we need more trial and error before we can strike a balance.

每次吵架，我都会想如果我没有结婚， 现在应该有很多事都不一样吧。

Holidays..

Ever since I am back from Aussie holiday, my holiday mood stays.
I had been trying to find out where else can I go, where/ which cards got the best deal.
Recently my friend suggested 2D1N Genting and I am very looking forward for it! (Got to wait till Oct10)

As I am looking thru the travels deals available, dont talk about those with super high travel fee, impossible to go trips,
there are actually many short trips that I can go - no need specially save up for it de.
Then, something stop me.. Not enough leaves! Haha.. Without that, Got $$ also cant go anywhere.
Another thing that bother me is Mr Tay. He cant go for leave as and when he apply for it. Basically his 'tao kay' will be unhappy if he go on leave too frequently.
Meaning I cant just plan a over the weekend trip as and when, We cant go anywhere also during long weekend when there is a PH cos usually that is his busiest period. Infact, whenever there is a PH, I am usually working with him. The most is we got half a day off.
I dun like that!!

I suggested places to go, during which period with consideration of is it possible for him to get away.
Reply: need to check with 'tao kay' if they have plans, can go, cannot go etc.
But when the 'tao kay and tao kay neo' going to travel, we were usually not being inform till the last min.
And even last min, we arent being inform, we are just being told that need to work on both weekends due to the fact cos they arent around.
Should not it be a mutual thing?
Ok I know its not the first time I am complaining abt his job liao but just need to rant! hahahaha...

Sometimes, I am dreaming how life will be different if he had accepted the Aussie posting..
Ok I am dreaming again.. Haha..

I am not dreaming after all. We went for dinner ytd nite. We were chatting over various issues and he told me he got a call again from RSAF asking him if he is interested to be back to the force! Oh my.. well we all know his answer but this phone did stir him up abit thus he was sort of complaining abt his current job status.

One month passed

Today marked 1 month since our Australia Holiday.
Hai.. I think our heart nv really follow us back home. Its still out there wondering.
Wondering when is the next holiday and where shall we go..

Well, still need to be back to reality and face the world after all.

Ytd, my MIL brought grandma over to our house. They started their nagging on us to give birth. Ohh.. my MIL started too! She even mentioned to get a maid, she can help to look after the maid as well as the baby.. I never thought that she will want to look after baby..

Oh my! That is another issue.
We shall settle that when I really got preggy! haha..

What do you call a day which ended late due to OT in office; hungry due to no dinner although got snack and yet still end up quarrel fiercely with ur other half?!
The main issue is, dunno what is the reason I am being shoot!!!

Great Holiday; now left with the memories..

Its a great holiday with lots of FIRST TIME experiences.
And now both of us are still experiencing withdrawal symptoms - holiday withdrawals. Haha..
I like Australia and I missed it more than going back to taiwan or BKK.
I even thought if I cant get a job to relocate there, can I go over to study instead? a year will do also! ahaha..

Below is a list of the FIRST TIME I had in this trip:

First time I boarded a normal flight instead of budget. To enjoy snacks even on a 2 hours domestic flight!
First time I went to an 'ang mo' country.
First time experiencing winter, although there isnt any snow, the cool and dry weather is indeed an experience. I love to be in jacket and yet does not sweat.
First time I feel that lip balm and moisturizer are so so impt; esp lip balm.
First time going on holiday for just the 2 of us. Previous tours were all done with friends other than the 1st Batam trip we had.
First time staying in an studio apartment that we can cook our own dinner!! Having red / white wine for almost every dinner at Melbourne cos wine there are simply so cheap!!
First time missing a flight! Haha.. Woke up an hour late, took a $50 (AUD$52 to be exact) cab to airport to realise that we were still late as luggage need to be checked in 30min before boarding time. We reached there at 830am where the flight is at 9.05am. Lucky us! The CSO managed to put us on the next available flight without any additional cost although she was mumbling: "no changes and amendment for sales fare!"
First time experiencing flight delay for almost 5 hours but landed us on the biggest commercial air plane currently - A380. It is really big and spacious. Cool!

I cant wait for the next holiday..
(comforting) telling myself to work harder for the next holiday although how I wish I can board on a plane right now to anywhere else except SG.
I fall in love in taking planes! Haha.. (This trip alone, we took 5 planes! To and fro and in between 3 domestic flights)

Just nice size to replace my coach skinny. Got a bill compartment and behind there is a zipper for coins! Hee.. I like the bright green candy color!

A day full of happiness - Entry to Club 30

Its my 30th Bday celebration ytd!
For the day, I did not celebrate with Mr Tay.
He wasnt able to make it for the dinner so I had dinner with my 13 yrs friends or what one quoted as 知心好友！
Haha.. We were commenting that that verse is touching that we are class by him as 知心好友!

We went to Singapore Turf city Riding centre. Its a cool night as its rain heavily in the afternoon. Luckily its rain as they are preparing some events for today and thus the indoor venue was not available. We were to sit outside.

Its happy hours when we reached so I ordered a Lychee Martini while the rest all had Hoegarden full pint beer.
Food is good but location is ulu. If u r not driving, its not a convenient place to go.
Nevertheless, we had a great time!

Just FYI the place will be closed for 2 month for YOG starting from mid of next month.

Besides my birthday, my coll named it as an auspicious day. Haha..
Firstly, Marina Bay Sand choose this day for their Grand Opening Ceremony so its must an auspicious day isnt so?!
2ndly, I gotten the confirmation letter from my Director - the promotion confirmation Letter. After working for 8 years, I got a promotion finally. It doesnt come easy, quoting one of the manager wishes: Its hard work being recongised. My senior was explaining to me, due to how big the company is, it is not easy to get a promotion here. Beside your own team, the promotion quotats need to be compete with the whole Finance department ( the dept I am in) and with agreements of other directors that this person is worth the recommendation for promotion. After which, the suggestion of promotion got to be approve by CFO and all the way up till the top level to consider it complete. Wow.. Sound like an achievement isnt it?! I wonder will I manage to stay till the next promotion. Hahaha...
3rdly, My laptop which was admitted to 'hospital' on monday due to hard disk crashed was being discharged! Haha.. I gotten a call from LG service centre that its really for collection. Mr Tay wasnt free ytd to collect it so collection was only done today.
I got a brand new laptop for usage now as ALL DATAS ARE GONE! After one year, I got a new laptop. Haha.. Self comforting!

Ytd concluded ending of my bday celebration but its also started another celebration - my promotion! ;)
Got to give a treats to my dear colls next wed.
Then perhaps over the weekends with my parents
And see when with his parents
And of cos in Aussie with Mr Tay! Haha..

Beside being happy regarding my promotion, its actually of a super mixed feelings too.
I am happy the moment I was given the letter but as the same time as she spoke to me, I know there are lots of shit behind to clear.
BUT...
With or without the promotion, the shit need to be clear so why dun I take the incresment and clear the shit.
Haha..

Oh.. and the celebration goes on..

I am glad that I had batch of good friends around me at this age of 30..
Although sometimes I will thought there isnt anyone ard when I am bored..
We are all just busy with our life and works.
BUT.. on my special days, they are always ard to celebrate with me!! :)

19/6/2010 - Surprise by Mr Tay at the Lows house! We had cake, very nice hokkien mee from Yishun, Dim sum and Fruits tarts. Mrs Low prepared watermelon too! Oh not forgetting Mr Tay got my fav bbq chicken wings!

20/6/2010 - Its a Father day dinner! But my dad din forget to wish me Happy Birthday too! Hee.. I bought Roast meat (Dad's fav), roast chicken and duck as requested by Mum home and she cooked 3 more dishes and we had a family dinner at home. After which, I got a box-misu from Mr Yong! Thks pal!

22/6/2010 - The Tans had booked me and Mr Tay for steamboat dinner at night. Hey Hey hotpot at Pomo centre. We shall see how.

23/6/2010 - Actual day! The poly gang had arranged for dinner. Although not all will turn up, I am sure it will be a fun one. I was thinking of OT initially but I think I shall just go for dinner. Haha.. To celebrate my special day of the year.

My Pre Birthday celebration

Last sat, as usual we were at Mr and Mrs Low's house for our MJ session.

Never did I thought that there will be a cake appearing out of no where. Haha..

It is Mr Tay's idea to surprise me! Celebrating me entering club 30!

Beside, the Lows bought me a helium balloon too! wow..

And on top of that, Mr Tay got me $200 Goldheart voucher - its our ROM anniversary cum Bday present! I get to go n get what I want! Smart of him! haha..

Every year He will plan and create surprise for me for my birthday. Cos he rem Me complaining him not being romantic. Haha.. IMO, he is still not cos all his planning involve others, not just a romantic nite with him BUT at the same time, it is the effort that counts!!

He liaise and co-oridnate with friends to get me the surprise and its more fun to celebrate with friends isnt it?!

Its tiring and not easy as I am around! Haha..

Been resting at home, went down to RP to change money for Aussie trip too.
I think my dogs are the happiest cos I am at home. Haha..

Back to reality

Back from the weekend break.. Not actually a break, feel like more tired, rushing here n there.
We almost miss the ferry due to the idiot Batam Fast staff. She is suppose to amend the name of my friend on the boarding pass, she went to check out him. When she try to re enter, the system refused as the gate is closed!
I reminded her that our ferry is leaving at 920am, she just said she know.
She asked for help from her senior, that uncle just simply said, is not we dun want to help, its not system refuse so bo bian lor... 'Hello! in the first place, whose fault in resulting to such situation'
All act as if not their problem.
In the end, my friend got escot to clear the custom as the name is error!
He got special treatment, no need to q somemore.

We got check in at the new wing, first floor.. Its a swimming pool access room! haha.. ok lor cos our room balcony exit to the baby pool. But the old one is more comfortable, the new one, bed isnt very comfortable, the air con position isnt good resulting in room not cold enought.
We went to eat, shop and the massage at nite isnt that great. We think its due to its weekend and end of the day, the massagers are tired!

Next round shall try out Holiday Inn. Go there just relax and do nothing. Dun go to town also. Just stare blank! haha..

Thoughts

Wow.. Its been a long time since my last entry.
Nothing much to note bah.
Nothing major happening.

Recently took up Pliates for weight loss at HQ with 2 of my other colls.
Not bad after attending 3 lessons. Feel muscles aching after each session. Meaning its work! haha.. But must be diligent enough to do it at home too.

After class, we went for dinner and one was mentioning might be going for further studies. While in office, my senior ask if I had the intention of further studies, I told her not at the moment bah.
I had discussed with Mr Tay this question before: To study or Try for BB. He asked me to decide myself since its me; I decided to try one and see how. After all, studies can come later if I still want but to conceive doesnt mean if U like, U will get it. I am hitting the BIG 3 this yr after all.
Then I ask my senior back, arent she preparing for one since now she had completed her studies? She said she wants but will let nature take its course and at the same time, she said she has not have enough fun! There are too many places she want to go. Well, its after all God's will whether one is blessed with a child or not..

Btw, going Batam tomorrow!! Booked the Spa package, I need the massage! Rest n Relax! hee..

Then also deciding if getting a Iphone! OMG, eventually still giving in? No la, got staff sales leh, less $200-$350 of RRP. Mr Tay is super keen to get me one, I am the one still deciding to get or not to get..

UPDATES!!
I got my IPHONE! 16GB white, Paid $98 for it with trade in of Mr Tay's N85 with a value of $200. Still getting used to it.

After my opp neighbour sold their hse at high price and shifted in Dec09, another couple is going off soon.
They are the first couple I get to know in the forum online.
Me and the HB are from the same poly, same course and same company now!
Our hse was of the same structure and layout but theirs is at 10th Flr.

Its very nice of them to call and inform us that they are shifting.
Gotten more info from them:
1. Flat valued at $400K, Sold at $439K --> Cash $39K
2. Sold to China PR
3. 100% of the viewers are PRs, none singaporean. Currently Our blk Indian PRs quotas met! No more Indians liao!
4. Bought a 3 rm flat at Serangoon at $280K
5. With the earnings, the profit from selling the 5rm flat is enough to cover minor renovation and full payment of the 3 rm --> No loan required!!

I envy on that portion! No housing loan to worry about. No work also nvm liao.
Told Mr Tay about it. Actually we can do so too! Sell the flat and get a 4rm maybe (Actually I dun mind 3rm, No extra unoccupied room to LOAN ppl). With 4rm, we might not be able to be loan free but we can actually be re-finance and lower the housing loan of current. Why not?!
Why to shift, where to shift to?
Selling at high price when the market is good will result in getting a flat of high price too! Got to do some homework man before any action taken.

The correct timing

If the shop closing time is at 930pm.. and someone left the shop at 8pm.
Still consider leaving early? when someone is suppose to leave early on that day?!
If you cant make it on time, give a call. To let the other party know, prepared.
Instead of accuse later on when ppl got to make it for their appt also.

The whole world doesnt turn around you only.
U got things to do so does others.
Esp when time is limited..

A nite out to Universal Studios at RWS with Mr Tay

Singtel offers their staff $20 per ticket to get into Singapore's latest attraction - Universal studio. Each staff is entitled to 2 tickets only so Mr Tay and I have a nite out there!

We are able to leave early at 4pm to prepare ourselves for the event.
Mr Tay got permission to leave earlier to fetch me and off we go!

We reached RWS at 5plus.. Went around to explore the areas. Feel great!! Been a long time since we went out like that! Got the Pak tor feel! haha.. Think we all are too busy working round n round liao. After work, no energy left liao.

We had dinner at Chilli before going in as he is hungry.
Great dinner!!

We took only "The revenge of the mummy" ride. Waited for 30min!
The ride is shiok esp we sat at the first row! Haha.. but its a little too short liao.

We paid $20 per ticket, we also only get to see $20 stuffs. Only ard 3-4 rides are open for us. And some of the areas are closed as well. To really experience every single part of the theme park, a full day with a full price ticket is still needed.
However I doubt I will ever step in again. To spend $66 on a weekday to enter is just way to expensive. Let alone $72 on weekend.

Bought some stuffs to keep as memories and that end our date!! hee Hee..

Its a long wait man! Another 3 more months to go.
I tell myself, I shall need to process 4 mths payments and holiday will come.
I am done with Feb10 payout.. so 1 month down..

3 more month of payouts to do.

At Brisbane, we will go over to Gold Coast. Dont plan to visit all the world. I doubt I got the luxury to, my skin wun allow me. So will be going to the Warner Bro Movie World only! hee..

The Old lady in office wanted to Lou Hei but no one is interested to lou with her. We gave all sort of reasons plus TL was on leave. So when we decide to lou ourselves, it got to be done secretly. Haha.. I bought the shredded radish, carrot and lou hei set. Instead of raw fish, we had pacific clams instead. Yummy! Its so nice! Big and juicy!!

Beside that, we ordered Domino pizza as lunch too!

Wow.. last post is like last month. Haha.. Been Super busy..
First I was enjoying my CNY holidays then came back office to clear my stuffs which resulting me in OT every day till 10pm but still I din manage to clear all stuffs. Hai..
Its another OT day for me today. What to do?!

Many updates but not done yet.
Many pictures to show but its all at home's laptop.
Hope I rem tonight!

I cant sleep at nite but cant wake up on time in the morning.
Even at 1am, sometimes 2am, I am still wide awake. How?!
Am i too stress or what?!

I am tired! Very very tired!

Monday work till 10pm - end up quarrel with someone who came to pick me up. That somebody said up right into my face LOUD and CLEAR that I am selfish. Cos he waited for 10min?! I dunno what time he reach. Yes, he did give me a call to notify me. I rebuked back - Does that somebody know anything abt the situation inside, how its work inside? Once called and I zoom out-That means I sit down there wait for the call only ah? I got nothing better to do ah? To stay in office rather than going home? Yes he is tired! Physically tired. I am not lor?
Try sitting in office for 13 hrs, facing the monitor.
I just got the feel that people think office job isnt tired at all.
(strangly that somebody was commenting that a friend - who is working as a stock trader, is very tiring cos he use alot of brain. I dun use brain lor. Sit down here, type and all things will be settle by themselves liao. Try been harass by the 2 oldies)

Ytd work till 1130pm! I declined ppl asking of need to fetch me or not. I got hands n legs. I can go home myself. Reached home, still got to keep clothes, fold clothes, wash clothes in machine and dry them. In e end who else do all that? Still me!
Silent is gold. Anyway I doubt I got any more energy to talk to someone.

I hope and seriously dun wan to work late today. I am left with one more product to go only. So should be no need le. I got no more energy left liao.

Beside this, the stupid old man indicate my sign in time as Late for the past few days.. I came in late yes I know. No need to indicate on the sheet. I wonder can he see the sign out time. BLIND!!

1. I got a call from Mr Tay last nite 9+. He said Aunt called him saying she will stayed till this month end. Then officially shifting over. Their things, She will shift over slowly. He told her to shift over the study table also. We got our free space back liao!

2. I applied for internal transfer to sales and planning dept last friday. I informed my boss this monday and had a 'talk' with him ytd. He said that his manpower over here is tighted and HR is still having the policy of not hiring if anyone to leave. Justification need to be done before to employ another staff. He added on saying nevertheless he encourage his staff to advance and move on for sure. Meanwhile he will check with HR to see if the policy still stand. Told him, if someone wants to leave for sure, if internal transfer fail, the person can just resign mah. Thus he will still need to justify if he need another staff. No diff de.
Anyway, I gotten the call from HR this morning! I thought will be an email. Interview at this friday at HQ. Like what SY mentioned, its a 50-50 chance. If they want to take me in but here not letting me go, its back to square one. Unless the other side is willing to wait.

Pepper is fine!

He had been the same for the past 2 days. Eating just like normal, still as greedy just that he was recommended soft food for these days to let the gums as use to in contact with food.

With that, he is in luck! I prepared mashed potato and carrot plus minced meat, hard boilded egg and boiled brocoli - all in mashed form for him. He had been enjoying but he did not forget to help Yuki to finish her kibbles whenever she cant finished. Haha..

He looked sad on wed nite when I fetched him back. I cant forget how he sneak his way out from inside of the clinic to the receptionist table area when he heard me talking to the nurse. So cute!!
The nurse commented that for his age, his health and coat of fur is good. And also he is a very playful dog! haha.. only abit noisy at nite when he stayed over. KPO doggie..

Ytd nite, he look much happier, Mr Tay agreed to it. And with that we are happy and less worry for him too.

Will continue good dental care for him to preserve his remaining teeth and also to hope Yuki get to keep her teeth as long as we could. And of cos good health!!

Pepper went tooth scaling and teeth extraction.

Actually he was sent down to the clinic last nite. To fast him and prepare for the blood test this morning then the procedure in the afternoon.
Cant help feeling worried, wonder if he feel cold, lonely, scare. Wonder if he will wonder where did we go? how come left him there? Haha... Think too much.

I thought I am the only one then realise I am not.
Last nite after Mr Tay came home after his meet up with his friends, he asked me when we were about to go to bed, " dunno if pepper is asleep liao or not?" " wonder what is he doing now"
Haha.. I am not alone!!

Anyway just gotten a call from the clinic that the procedures is done and they want to confirm on the timing I am going over to pick him up. I check with them how is he. The nurse said he is doing fine, I asked if he is still under the anthesatic, she checked and come back saying no he is awake le. Haha.. Must be kpoing ard, bio-ing the pretty nurses over there.

Soon I will get to see him!! count down in ard 2 hrs time.

Doctors' outing day

I meant yesterday.

I noticed pepper had been drooling out of suddenly since last wed. Checked on him, cant find anything. But he smell badly.. worse than his normal bad breath. So i decide to bath him on sat morning since there are 2 helpers at shop helping Mr Tay.

Checked - his hind teeth are decaying. One is shaking badly resulting in gum bleeding too. No wonder he keep drooling. So called up vet to make appt to bring him down on sun.
But at the same time, its does not affect his fav - eating at all. Just that he eat abit slower but still faster than Yuki.

Sunday morning, got a msg from Ms Tay. Senior Mr Tay's leg is swollen. Asking if Mr Tay can fetch him to see doc. Conicidencely, Mr Tay's leg also swollen due to gout.
So in the end, we went to fetch Senior ard 12+pm. I called up the vet to push the appt to a later timing at 340pm instead. So both senior and junior went to treat their leg.
After done, sent his parents back home, we went back home with me going up to bring Pepper down to bring him to his appt.

Vet said that its a serious case of ________ (I din manage to catch the name). Tooth scaling is needed to clean up and also to extract all decayed tooth. As Anthesatic is needed, vet recommend us to let him do a blood test to check on his health, how his organs are function to minimise risk of the usage of anthesatic. I dunno how much is the blood test but we had decided to go ahead with the blood test. To be safe. Pepper was given an injection and 14days of Antibotic starting today. So ytd, We spent $120 on this visit - consulation, injection, medication plus a bottle of oral drinking water additive.

Will be sending him in tmr nite to stay overnite at the clinic as he need to fast for the blood test. Then fetch him back on wed evening after his tooth scaling. We were told that his tooth scaling cost $120, dunno how much the blood test will be.

I just hoped that he will be fine after the tooth scaling!

Btw, we thought he is heavy.. He weighs only 7kg! haha..

The bag I ordered actually arrived in SG on 2nd Jan but was only delivered today since this is the first working day..

Differences

Had an arguements again this morning.

We just could not agree on some views. I wonder is it my way of expression is wrong? or he simply cant get what I am trying to say.
At the same time, I know he is thinking the same thing - I just cant get him.

To him, he had been repeating this - I am just trying to argue my ways to win. I feel that due to this fact, he doesnt listen to my any explanation cos to him, its just another BULLSHIT that I am trying to get myself win the arguement.

He will just simply end it by saying forget abt it.. U WIN!

He said next time none of his business, he shall not speak. No speech, no arguement. I told him, no talk.. no differences, no quarrels.
He said he is tired..
Then I am not is it?
To need to take in ppl who I dun want to in my hse
To settle things whenever there is arguments between the olds n the not so young.
To be the bridge when needed to.

Just because I am the woman?! Then I dun want to be. U know how much brain cells are wasted each time?!

At some times, I wonder.. why are we so different? Really opp attracts?

Whenever we are together the whole day, there tend to be arguement. Esp sat, I hate it when the arguement start in the morning. For the whole day, there will be silent, black face and ignore. Me to him or via versa.

We cant stay together for long hours facing each others? That is true unless we are on holiday.

Sometimes I feel sad that our r/s is like that. sweet in a way but maybe not totally the way I wanted.
Our lifes are getting boring I think. work, work, work, work... from Mon to Sat. Sunday will usually be wake up late, lunch, hsework, to my mum place. Ended..
I hate his job!

Dun talk abt childern.. I really think no help with having childern. Perhaps more arguements, differences in treating, raising the kids.

Perhaps Silent is the real gold.

Merry Post Xmas!

Merry Post Xmas! Haha.. I am late.. very late.
Due to the holidays I took mid month, I am getting my retribution now - rushing to finish up work before mth end and also.. 2009 coming to an end.

No Xmas countdown for me.
We went to his Aunt's hse at Punggol, they were having BBQ. Mainly just join in, chit chat and its Christmas liao. No countdown, no screaming, yelling shouting.. and we went home. Haha...

I slept thru on xmas day - managed to steal time, nv go down to where I am suppose to. He went alone and came back ard 4pm.
We were meeting Mr and Mrs 'Mo', KS, Ex Ms *hub and her HB for steamboat dinner at 7th Storey at Wikie Edge. For the price, its good! We paid $15.80nett + $0.30 for wet towel - we got buffet chilli crabs - crab meat not too good btw but 'gong' is big. For the price, its good enough. Plus they got man tou, desserts, vege are buffet style too. Where else for meat wise, its ala cart. We ordered and they served. Oh come with free refillable drinks too. Isnt that worth?! Had a great time eating.
After which Mr 'Mo' actually booked a apartment at Citadines which is just upstairs. He was clearing his allowances for yr 2009. So we tabao starbucks coffee, went out to the apartment. Not bad wor.. We played Wii! Haha.. First time, had a great time too!

Boixing day - working as usual since its a sat. Supposed to meet Mr and Mrs 'Mo' for MJ at the apartment but Mr 'Mo' down with stomach upset wor. So Mr and Mrs Tan came over instead. We played till morning ard 7am with Mr Tay winning ard $60+ for a game of $0.20, $0.40. He is super lucky!!

Sunday - Ms BKK is back!! Sunday ended fast as we woke up at only 2pm+. After lunch, bath the dogs, we went down to Tampines. With that, our long weekend is over..

Next long weekend - counting down at Lunar with Mr Panda, Ms BKK and some other friends. Afterwhich, its working days.. days after days 1/1/2010-03/1/2010!! Its another retribution - Mr Tay pay back time for his holiday at BKK..
What a way to start a new YEAR!

Back from Holidays..

Back from BKK, in fact back to work liao.
Got to face the same black square box again.

We been waiting for so long for the holidays but the 4 days past just like that.
No choice la.. Happy times passed fast.

Din buy alot this time, nothing much to get exactly. More of eating n eating n eating. Haha..
And also got quite a bit of toileries. Haha.. Cheaper there mah..

Then when we came back, heard 2 pieces of so call good news from Ms Tay.
1. She is shifting back. She had a talk with Senior Mr and Mrs Tay sometimes back. Its surprising that Senior Mr Tay actually talk things out with her.. in calm manner. Anyway, whatever, she got to bow her head cos she needed funds to continue her Uni studies.
She shld be shifting back this coming sunday.

2. Auntie should be shifting out to Fernvale - her ex husband's hse. Ever since her ex passed away, I had yet to see her 2 childern. It had been 3 weeks liao. They had been staying at Fernvale. Heard from Ms Tay, her ex MIL had been asking to shift over too ( i dunno what is the reason). Partly to take care of the eldest son(from her ex's previous marriage) too. Heard that the r/s between the eldest son n her isnt bad after all. She mentioned to Ms Tay that since the 2 childern arent coming back too so she might as well shift over there too.

Mr Tay was telling me.. so after long wait, its coming to an end..

I hope so cos for part 2, it isnt confirm.

Simply Selfish..

2 days ago.. marked the 7th year Mr Tay hold my hands but no celebrations, no gift, nothing.
He in fact forget abt it.
Week before, he was telling me that he will be going dinner with his 'friends' (a grp of ppl know at the shop - 1 being a 60s+ customer who eventually now go to the shop everyday, eat lunch, talk rubbish, 1 is the shop owner of opp cake shop, a fews others of ppl either live ard there or friends of friends). He simply forget abt it. Being a Female, I will be lying to say I DUN MIND.

When I remind him, he look at the calender and said he agreed to the dinner without knowing the date. That mean, he cant back out. FINE!

Who know due to unknown reason, his right eye got swollen in the middle of mon mid nite. Eye Mo doesnt help. He got himself eye wash on monday, doesnt help at all. So tuesday he went to see doc as such I applied FFL. Only thus, we get to lunch together at HG mall Ajisen. Then he sent me to office and he went back to work before going out with them at nite.

I began to hate his job. When his mum told me abt the reason why they got this shop and him to run the shop long ago, I din really mind the reason but now I think I do.
She said: is to tie him down. So that he got no time to go out with his friends - in her eyes, those no good friends ( come to think of it, she nv mentioned such things abt 2nd master's friends, she sometimes said the same things to some friends of Ms Tay).
Never did she realise, he got no times for me either. I am always alone, eat dinner alone, alone at home ( of cos not now). Mr Tay only get to knock off early on Tuesday and Friday - not too early either, leaving work place at least 730pm, reaching here at ard 8pm.
What time do people usually meet for dinner? 7pm. Hai..

Then due to the limit time he had, if got friends jio, he will meeting his friends for dinner or drinks during these 2 days. There goes my weekday chance.
I am stuck in the shop on sat.
Leaving Sunday for us to really spend together, to pack house, to do all sort of things that are suppose to be done.
I HATE IT!!

I cant blame him for meeting with his friends cos that are his only time too to catch up with his friends.
His parents' thinkings are simply selfish!
I remembered her reason of asking us to get a 5room flat - so that he got no excess money in CPF to do investment. What does she know?! That is one of the way to make ur money in CPF to grow.

Recently she called up the worker in shop and asked her to pass the msg to Mr Tay to tell his dad himself that we are going BKK next week. She said he had never agreed to the trip beforehand. Ya right, we told him like 5mths beforehand. He has ample time to plan man power. Not as if we are telling u this week that next week we are flying. Basically they just simply ignore abt it as to them, it is simply not important. Never care about other people feelings de. They want to work 24/7, 365days that is their problem, their thinking. They cant expect and want people to think just like them. I repeat: We work to live, not live to work!

Mr Tay said he heck care. They better 'fire' him off if they arent happy about it.
Seriously I hope that too. Their thinking is if not for the shop, what can he work for a living?
Oh Pls.. he had spent 7 years in Air force, he got a diploma in Mechincal engineering. As long as willing to work, wun die de lor. And I dun see any reason why he cant get a much better job then.
Not as if they are paying damm high salary?! No benefits, nothing!
Even he cant get a similiar salary, there will be at least 10 days of AL, medical leaves etc lor. And then yearly got increasment, got variable bonus or at least AWS or special bonus. And definately more rest time also!

I was thinking this time round if such things going to happen again, I will use recorder to record down every single word his dad said. That its them who 'sack' him, not he choose to leave himself. When they go around telling other people how unfilial this son is, choose to leave blah blah blah.. I will make sure the recording be heard by every single one. Haha..

**EVIL ME** I just feel that they deserve it!

Life is so unpredictable.

Last week got no times to post anything cos was struggling to finish out work as I am now handling all accounts alone. There is some temp reshuffling of accounts as 1 of my coll is going to take maternity leaves in Jan2010. Someone else got to take over a portion of her job while me got to take on a portion of the someone job lor.. What to do?!

Had a very 'INTERESTING, EXCITING' as well as heavy hearted weekend.

Sat - had a quarrel with Mr Tay. Resulting in I went home alone since he refused to talk to me. Of cos all were fine the next day when both of us cool down.

Sun - Heard a piece of news that the Aunt's ex HB had passed away suddenly. He had a fall - on the floor or hit on something not accounted. Only know he got a big bump on his head after the fall. His eldest son want to send him to hospital, he refused and say want to rest on sofa. He sat there, vomitted and went the son want to get him something to eat, he realised the dad was sitting there, motionless. In fact, his body felt cold. The son called for ambulance and when the people arrived, they were told that he had stopped breathing for at least 30min. Still they send him to hospital, hoping to save him but in vain.

I had not seen him at all.
Impression of him were all bad. When I first get to know Mr Tay, they were still together. But he was beating her now n then especially after he drink. After a while, came to know they were in the midst of divorce. In between, heard she went back to him but ran out later again. I am not sure abt the kids custody status but the kids stay with the mum with occassional visits to his place.
I dunno how Aunt feel. Will she be sad? I think most likely will. After all once husband and wife.
As for the kids, I cant see anything from them. I dunno if they hv no feelings or just hiding it. But at age 15 and 12, I bet they do understand what is happening and I think its did hit them quite hard.

Mr Tay commented that life is so fragile and can be gone so suddenly.
I agreed and that is why I always say treasure what you have now.

Steamboat buffet on 17/11/09

We are bothered by what happened recently deep down.
I dun feel right, looking at him, he doesnt feel that right too.
But still.. We went ahead with our dinner celebration.

It is not somewhere with very good atmosphere or somewhere very expensive but its who is having the dinner session with u.

We enjoyed the dinner despite all.. We just want to enjoy the night.

Its drizzling when he came to pick me up otherwise we will want to have the dinner at Punggol Sakura Charcoal grill & Shabu Shabu instead.

So we went to AMK to have porridge steamboat buffet instead.
Its not very fasnastic but for the price we paid, its good enough.
For $13.90, U get to choose 2 soup bases - Chicken, porridge or Tom yum. Then it come with some fried cooked food choices, steamboat spread - prawns, fish, meats, vegetable, vegetables even red dates and wolfberries to add into your soup. The prawns are really fresh too.

Beside, its include drinks and ice cream!

Din take a lot of picture cos was busy eating. Just some to witness the dinner! ha..

Talking abt anniversary, talking abt dinner.. Its remind me:

Last week or the week before, I went back HG for dinner with SIL.

Casually, SIL mentioned abt her 2nd DIL not wanting to hv customary wedding.

Mum said no, apparently she has told her will be 5 years later.. and said how can dun have dinner. Like that how to 交代to her parents. Like taking advantage of the gal's side.

I was casually mentioning the chat contents to Mr Tay on sunday during our brunch timing.

He said: she wun let go so easily de.. Its her fav son.. although she did mention its tiring, she dun want to go thru again 2 yrs ago after our dinner.

And he remind me: she did mention how abt dun wan to hv the dinner?! yes! She did mention about us not having the dinner. Its both Mr Tay - The senior one and the junior saying 'NO' - Senior one said both are eldest child in the family, how can dun hv? Junior one saying he got to give a 交代 to my parents. How come she nv thought of taking advantage of my family at that time, how come she dun need to 交代 to my parents at that time?!

Anyway the dinner was go ahead of cos.

Junior Mr Tay added in.. She just see my dad not up cos he isnt working - not surprising. She does hv this attitude of seeing ppl not up as n when, here n there. But its just nv cross my mind till Mr Tay mentioning it.

Well.. Its over, We had our dinner, we had our stay at Presidential suite with jacuzzi tub. So?!

Its been 2 years.. Time flies..
It seems just yesterday. Haha..
Memories are still quite fresh in mind.
I still rem bits of details here and there in my head.
Rem the presidential suite - Haha.. think its the one and only time we got to stay in the presidential suite liao.
Rem my wedding gown - how I love the lace embro and the blue trim.
Rem what song did Mr Tay sing to gain himself entry to the house! Haha..

There is still a long road aheading us.

But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots.
Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.

She thought over it.. and really wonder.. what is he angry with?
She decided to ask her brother.

But he is really angry till he slum down his daughter phone ytd when she called to look for her mother..

Weird Person!

He is weird! Very Weird.. He taught the kids to tell someone personally if need help to show sincerely. But when the mum want to call the son to ask him to attend wedding dinner on their behalf, he disagreed. Saying the son is using this wedding issue as a threat to threaten them. Oh Pls! What to threaten? What does he get in exchange of the threaten? He like to assume his own thoughts as others, want to jump into conclusion just like that. He want to jumble up all things and ensure nothing goes smooth.. He is such a selfish fellow! Never care abt the mum's feelings, others feelings. Just want to make the whole world as unhappy..

New gaget in the house!

Sorry for the not so clear picture.
Mr Tay eagerly wanted to get this last friday. So he came to pick me up at Anchorvale CC where me and Mdm Tan were having our dinner, drop Mdm Tan at SK MRT station and off we went to Hougang Fairprice Xtra. Its a promo for NTUC union members. Members are able to get this GPS set at only $169, original price is $399. The staff requested to see the membership card thou the sales flyer did not indicate price is only available for members.
I asked him why so eager? If not we can always get it on sunday. After gotten it, he said cos with it, he will be able to drive me to where I want to go on sat nite mah. True! Without it, there is a limited places he know how to go. Thks Mr Tay!
So far we had tried it and had been not bad, accurate.. Only that the map show mainly main road or not updated enough? Its doesnt ask us to turn into the small road which we usually took when going home instead asking us to go one big round!
No chance to try it for route which we dunno at all yet.. Hope the chance will come soon!

Things are getting from bad to worse..

Follow by the elder son not talking to his parents.. now its the daughter..
She shifted out of the house last weekend, move in to her elder bro's..
They are too much! Simply too much the DIL said..
The house got no maid now - The DIL foresee problems will surface when the maid is gone and she is right!

The 2nd young master is at home the whole day... DID nothing..
The daughter came home after work + going out, kena bomb with all of - so free go out / not helping out with the hsework... WTF?!
The 2nd young master isnt human being ah? No hands? No legs? Intelligent disabled? Or simply so delicated that NO NEED TO lift a single finger??!!

Her reason: He is tried from all the working..
HELLO! Who isnt tired from working?! It is a self choice to work late, working extra hrs etc. Its his own choice too to push himself to the max; to rest the least.
Why should others suffer due to that someone own selfish choice?!
He live to work.. That is his problem!
Others live to enjoy life.. work for money to fulfill their dreams of enjoying life.. Just bcos of this doesnt mean the rest of the world are working hard enough!
Its a question of working smart.

The mother told everyone - she is sick la.. blah blah blah.. Then yet she got to bring dinner up to the 2nd young master to eat.. Why? Handicapped? Cannot come down? or bed ridden?
Why are they only bullying the 1st son and youngest daughter? Just bcos they dunno how to throw temper that last forever like the 2nd young master?! The DIL Believe strongly, its a choice! Not they dunno how to; just if there is a need for?

Now -- be it by the father or that someone else.. they cancelled the daughter's phone line. Is there a need to push things till like that?
Why are they worsen things instead of solving it?

With the price i paid for my 5rm, I cant even get the 4rm now.

Mthly installments are high too! The caluclation is based on 90% loan with a 30 yrs loan mind you..

So how lucky are we to get our home sweet home much earlier..

Mr Tay's Birthday - 061009

Its my Mr Tay's birthday. Cracking my brain to give him something, he doesnt need anything.

So thought get a special cake.. search online and found this.

Cake look nice, dunno taste nice or not.

But since got delivery, why not?!

So I ordered a Irish whisky cake with delivery - delivery timing at 5-7pm BUT its came at 2pm+. The guy passed me the invoice, indeed show timing as 2-5pm. Nvm, wrong cake even thou he collect the correct $$ from me. Called him and luckily, he is still at carpark, he came back, pick up the cake to do an exchange, show him my email, the correct timing and the CORRECT cake I ordered.

He said he will be back with the correct cake at the correct timing.

5 hours later.. I got the cake! The figures are hand made of candy.. Melted if not in fridge!

Doesnt the male look just like Mr Tay? haha..

PS:Btw, the cake is yummy but service abit... cannot make it.

Its was given by the company - for celebrating of wins exclusive rights to Barclays Premier League or the EPL. Its of a 3 yr period starting from Aug 2010.
My coll was commenting then I shall be very busy liao.. I revert, I might not be at the same dept next yr?! Haha...

Foot mask - 去旧迎新

No.. Not chinese new year yet.
Recently saw this ad selling a product call milky foot - suppose to help to remove the dead skin and reveal the baby foot skin like. But its ex! selling at $39 a pair wor..

Then I found this pair at Gmarket, Selling only $18. Same from Taiwan.. Try this intead and It work lor.. I first use the mask on 18/09/09, peeling shld start 7 days later.. which is 25/9/09 and whole process last maximum 30days. So far half foot done.. another half to go.I tink I will get more to remove all the dead skin of my feet cos one pack not enough. haha...

The packThe pair of plastic inside, in shapre of our feet, there is some liquid inside. Suppose to put whole feet in, taped with the tape attached.

Wear sock to secure the plastic at the same time, easier to move ard. Timing is ard 90min to 120min depend on how thick the dead skins is.

Oh ya.. got to record down.. my foot before putting on the mask.

New Rings

Mr Tay lost the one we bought abt 2 yr back, the ones that are featured in our wedding photos.

So.. we got a new pair - stainless steel still since he is more rough with the rings and in e event that is lost again, we will not be heart pain. Isnt it a unique pair? Its square in shape instead of the usual round one.L

ike that I will be able to hv new ring, every 1 or 2 yrs?! haha.. Our engaged pair are kept in the drawer. Wear only during occassion like CNY, wedding dinner.

Btw, this is our 3 pair of 'rough wear' rings liao..
