The DIL was chatting with her SIL last nite and a question pop up if her mind:
What is the Father angry about?

The SIL said she dunno...
She thought over it.. and really wonder.. what is he angry with?
She decided to ask her brother.
Her brother also dunno..

But he is really angry till he slum down his daughter phone ytd when she called to look for her mother..

Weird Person!

He is weird! Very Weird.. He taught the kids to tell someone personally if need help to show sincerely. But when the mum want to call the son to ask him to attend wedding dinner on their behalf, he disagreed. Saying the son is using this wedding issue as a threat to threaten them. Oh Pls! What to threaten? What does he get in exchange of the threaten? He like to assume his own thoughts as others, want to jump into conclusion just like that. He want to jumble up all things and ensure nothing goes smooth.. He is such a selfish fellow! Never care abt the mum's feelings, others feelings. Just want to make the whole world as unhappy..

New gaget in the house!

Sorry for the not so clear picture.
Mr Tay eagerly wanted to get this last friday. So he came to pick me up at Anchorvale CC where me and Mdm Tan were having our dinner, drop Mdm Tan at SK MRT station and off we went to Hougang Fairprice Xtra. Its a promo for NTUC union members. Members are able to get this GPS set at only $169, original price is $399. The staff requested to see the membership card thou the sales flyer did not indicate price is only available for members.
I asked him why so eager? If not we can always get it on sunday. After gotten it, he said cos with it, he will be able to drive me to where I want to go on sat nite mah. True! Without it, there is a limited places he know how to go. Thks Mr Tay!
So far we had tried it and had been not bad, accurate.. Only that the map show mainly main road or not updated enough? Its doesnt ask us to turn into the small road which we usually took when going home instead asking us to go one big round!
No chance to try it for route which we dunno at all yet.. Hope the chance will come soon!

Things are getting from bad to worse..

Follow by the elder son not talking to his parents.. now its the daughter..
She shifted out of the house last weekend, move in to her elder bro's..
They are too much! Simply too much the DIL said..
The house got no maid now - The DIL foresee problems will surface when the maid is gone and she is right!

The 2nd young master is at home the whole day... DID nothing..
The daughter came home after work + going out, kena bomb with all of - so free go out / not helping out with the hsework... WTF?!
The 2nd young master isnt human being ah? No hands? No legs? Intelligent disabled? Or simply so delicated that NO NEED TO lift a single finger??!!

Her reason: He is tried from all the working..
HELLO! Who isnt tired from working?! It is a self choice to work late, working extra hrs etc. Its his own choice too to push himself to the max; to rest the least.
Why should others suffer due to that someone own selfish choice?!
He live to work.. That is his problem!
Others live to enjoy life.. work for money to fulfill their dreams of enjoying life.. Just bcos of this doesnt mean the rest of the world are working hard enough!
Its a question of working smart.

The mother told everyone - she is sick la.. blah blah blah.. Then yet she got to bring dinner up to the 2nd young master to eat.. Why? Handicapped? Cannot come down? or bed ridden?
Why are they only bullying the 1st son and youngest daughter? Just bcos they dunno how to throw temper that last forever like the 2nd young master?! The DIL Believe strongly, its a choice! Not they dunno how to; just if there is a need for?

Now -- be it by the father or that someone else.. they cancelled the daughter's phone line. Is there a need to push things till like that?
Why are they worsen things instead of solving it?

With the price i paid for my 5rm, I cant even get the 4rm now.

Mthly installments are high too! The caluclation is based on 90% loan with a 30 yrs loan mind you..

So how lucky are we to get our home sweet home much earlier..

Mr Tay's Birthday - 061009

Its my Mr Tay's birthday. Cracking my brain to give him something, he doesnt need anything.

So thought get a special cake.. search online and found this.

Cake look nice, dunno taste nice or not.

But since got delivery, why not?!

So I ordered a Irish whisky cake with delivery - delivery timing at 5-7pm BUT its came at 2pm+. The guy passed me the invoice, indeed show timing as 2-5pm. Nvm, wrong cake even thou he collect the correct $$ from me. Called him and luckily, he is still at carpark, he came back, pick up the cake to do an exchange, show him my email, the correct timing and the CORRECT cake I ordered.

He said he will be back with the correct cake at the correct timing.

5 hours later.. I got the cake! The figures are hand made of candy.. Melted if not in fridge!

Doesnt the male look just like Mr Tay? haha..

PS:Btw, the cake is yummy but service abit... cannot make it.

What so special abt it?
Its was given by the company - for celebrating of wins exclusive rights to Barclays Premier League or the EPL. Its of a 3 yr period starting from Aug 2010.
My coll was commenting then I shall be very busy liao.. I revert, I might not be at the same dept next yr?! Haha...

Foot mask - 去旧迎新

No.. Not chinese new year yet.
Recently saw this ad selling a product call milky foot - suppose to help to remove the dead skin and reveal the baby foot skin like. But its ex! selling at $39 a pair wor..

Then I found this pair at Gmarket, Selling only $18. Same from Taiwan.. Try this intead and It work lor.. I first use the mask on 18/09/09, peeling shld start 7 days later.. which is 25/9/09 and whole process last maximum 30days. So far half foot done.. another half to go.I tink I will get more to remove all the dead skin of my feet cos one pack not enough. haha...

The packThe pair of plastic inside, in shapre of our feet, there is some liquid inside. Suppose to put whole feet in, taped with the tape attached.

Wear sock to secure the plastic at the same time, easier to move ard. Timing is ard 90min to 120min depend on how thick the dead skins is.

Oh ya.. got to record down.. my foot before putting on the mask.

New Rings

Mr Tay lost the one we bought abt 2 yr back, the ones that are featured in our wedding photos.

So.. we got a new pair - stainless steel still since he is more rough with the rings and in e event that is lost again, we will not be heart pain. Isnt it a unique pair? Its square in shape instead of the usual round one.L

ike that I will be able to hv new ring, every 1 or 2 yrs?! haha.. Our engaged pair are kept in the drawer. Wear only during occassion like CNY, wedding dinner.

Btw, this is our 3 pair of 'rough wear' rings liao..

More and more holidays PLS!

Its been sometimes since last entry..
Stiuation at home doesnt get any better.. basically now the Elder one isnt talking to the 2 old ones.
The youngest one is avoiding at all cost if possible.
And I am getting tired to bother abt it..
I just want peaceful life! So dun care! haha..

Now looking forward to my next holiday in December... going back to BKK! Yeah!

And I am thinking to go for another holiday next yr during CNY timing since 初一 is Sunday and 初二 is Monday.
Then 初三 which is Tuesday is a public holiday so am thinking can take 3 day of leave to enjoy a week of off! And because Mr Tay will only start work on at least 初六 so thought we can go holiday. （Btw, his parents are going Korea. We arent not ask if interested or not. Heard that they asked his brother and his wife, they cant make it - going back M'sia and they assume us and the sister dun want to go also.. FINE!)

Was tempted to go Japan! Cos coll booked her Osaka tickets at only $398nett per pax - its a promo by m'sia airlines. But the lodging and expenses there will be high. Since we just want to get away, maybe can just go KL + genting. Haha..
No concrete plans as of now..

It is Mr Tay's Brother and his beloved ROM ceremony day.
The new Mrs Tay's friend was there to help to take some official photos using his SLR.
While me - was there taking photos with my new Fujiflim camera. Haha..

My Nokia E71 - White Steel

I gotten my Nokia E71 white steel last friday!
Thks Mr Tay for getting me the phone.
Its a 2nd hand phone bought without contract. I dun want to get a new one without contract, it will be too ex le.
Its a chim phone! Basic function, no problem! But I think there are many more things to explore to make full use of the phone! hee...

Should I wait?

I need to change my phone! My viewty had been serving me well - very well indeed that I had actually used it for more than a yr! Haha.. its celebrating its 16th mth with me soon. The battery quality level drop badly. Now, after on a call, the battery will left with only 1 bar, after half an hr of charging, its will be full bar again..

OK! All excuses to get a new phone! haha... (But what I mentioned above is really the truth other than that, its really fine! esp the camera! haha..)

I wanted to get Nokia E72 in exactly the color shown - Bronze.. Cool right?! But its not available in market yet till 3rd quarter of 2009 which latest shld be by Sept 2009. However when reading up various forum to find out the launch date, someone who said from the company said the phone will only be avilable in Oct 2009. As known, the first batch should be avoid + waiting for price to drop.. I got to wait till like... earliest next yr to get this

I dun want to wait that long to change phone.. I decided to take a look at its current version E71. Yes! E72 is mainly an upgraded version of E71 a slight change of positioning of the keypad and a 5mega pixel camera instead of 3.2. Other than that, no major diff-still working on the same system. Oh, I do read that some positioning diff of the speaker etc too.
It had been a phone with pretty good reviews. But I dun wish to sign up a contract as I thought of debundling my MIO plan. Haha.. Maybe I just source for one without contract. And by the time I am sick of this E71, its might be just right of time to get the E72 at the right pricing too! We shall see how.

Why hide?

I agreed with this post. Talking abt how precious is 24 yrs to a woman and why the man simply refuse to reveal her status.
He make me feel.. so disappointed.
But come to think of it, is it his decision or is he being force by the public?

My new camera - Fujifilm F70 EXR! (Updated)

Bought our new camera today! With my bday present from Viv, SY n Judy, $50 voucher from UOB uni$, e rest paid by Mr Tay! Hee..

Its a new product from Fujifilm. Initially we wanted to get a Canon IXUS 100, went to Expo, HN explosive sales but nothing unusual abt the sales. Basically, price is the same else where, freebies are the same too! Just as we are able to go n make payment, we realise they are not able to redeem UNI$ at the RS. Thus I told Mr Tay forget abt it.

We went to METRO Expo sales then since its just next door. Then we saw the FujiFilm booth. I was showing Mr Tay the F200 EXR - The Editor Choice camera. Its RRP is $549 but at the RS, they are offering at $499 and able to throw in extra battery on top of the given freebies package. Then the lady intro this F70 EXR to us.

Its a new product launched only on 5/8/09 as told by her and only available at the Metro Expo sales currently. Its has 10Mps instead of 12Mps for F200 but its has 10x optical zooms comparing to F200 - 5x optical zooms. Mr Tay was charmed by it and was telling me that the picture quality is better than Canon. The only cons of it as compare to IXUS 100 will be the outlook. As told by the Canon salesman, Megapixels isnt as important as compare to the lens - I sort of believe in it cos my canon A420 of 4 Mps took much nicer pictures as compare to my friends' Panasonic Limux. However I am bother abt not able to redeem my UNI$ for the $50 voucher. So I told Mr Tay, we shall see look first since its a new launch anyway.

Then we went back Tampines for dinner, there we went to Best Denki and guess what?! we saw the F70 lor.. who say only available at the Metro Sales de?! Pricing is $519 - throw in screen protector, cleaning kits, 8GB SD card, mini Tripod stand and card reader. We requested to throw in extra battery. They obliged to the request but not able to give original one thou, just compatiable. We thought better than nothing.

So we got the camera at $519 - $50(UNI$) - $60(Bday gift), this little baby cost $409! haha..

I had took pictures with it on ytd trip. Shall updates n upload it tonight if I am free! Meanwhile, more specs of the camera can be read up here

IPHONE!!

Our Iphone arrived ytd! Waited for it since reservation on 15th July. Delivery was done to Mr Tay's shop. Beside charging, there is nothing he can do as he need to download itunes before activating it. So last nite, we did some downloading, played with the free applns etc. Haha.. Had a fun time. Battery was almost gone - left 30+% when we go to sleep. We did the software upgrade too and with that we cant jailbreak the phone liao. But nvm since Mr Tay isnt keen to jailbreak in the first place. He dun wan to void the warranty. This phone is really sleek, he said he is getting used to it now. Good. We paid $149 for it as his price plan allow him to get the phone at $49 + $100 due to upgrading less than 21 mths.

I am still waiting for my E72 to launch! Haha.. long wait..

Recently.. he had been lucky! good!! Let it continue!!

Things might not be as its seems to

Ytd nite went over IL place for dinner and eat Dumplings. Dun ask me what occassion, I also dunno. Heard over the dinner that, they rem last min too thus inform us to go home for dinner in such a rush. Anyway mentioned to them that our neighbour next door sold their flat for $420K, MIL was surprise and talked abt getting landed and shifting in to stay together plan. FIL opened his mouth and said: 没有可能的事! He said my MIL is daydreaming wor... So this wishful thoughts might not be true anyway however I know the idea of staying together might eventually still realise just that not happening in landed lor..

Anyway beside dinner - fried bee hoon with canned pig trotters - nice home cooked flavour, she cooked chicken soup too. Super duper nice! She cooked the soup since nite before. I love those double boiled soup but I got no time to make it at home. Haha.. She dish out bowl after bowl for me. She know I like it! Dun hiam

They had long talk after dinner.. the 3 guys-the 3 Mr Tay, I give up since doesnt concern me- its abt the shop and warehouse in Defu. FIL's back is aching and actually hurt his nerve system resulting in the whole thigh pain. The chinese sin seh said cant carry heavy thing anymore if not will worsen the condition. Thus the2 brothers need to do rearrangement now in order to get work done between the 2 working venues.

A Ikea trip that lead me into deep thoughts

We went to Ikea on sunday. Just as we entered level 2, he asked me to sit down and want to discuss something with me. He said his parents have this thoughts of getting a landed property and all of us stay together. Its not the first time I am hearing this, his mum did ask me before if I rem correctly. I know its his wish too. In fact, his wish is - if he can afford, he will want to get a landed and all of us - my parents, his parents stay together. He like big families feel. Thus I know, I cant escape from staying with his parents one fine day esp
1. He is the elderest son
2. He has this weakness towards family kinship - this is a + point, I like this point of his but it will mean he is willing to take on any additional responsibilies from anyone as long as its his family.

My instant reaction is to reject, fight back and argue. I said I dun wish to, dun wan to lose my freedom. Seeing each other is easy but living together is another story, it will never be easy as he think. Thus end up the trip did not continue happily. We walked on, with things in my mind.
Actually some part deep down in me, I dun mind, I will love and like that kind of close big family feel too. Perhaps not with his family but with mine. Haha.. after all I realise I am not as close to his family esp his parents as I should be. There is still distance. However I know, his parents dote on me. Its something that I can feel it myself too. He told me:
1. his mum will worry that I will be tired to clean up house after long day of work. Thus suggesting he to bring the maid over on weekend to clean up the house. And now suggesting to stay together so that we do not need to worry of cleaning up, cooking meals etc.
2. He feel that he is drifting away from his family - which I thought it rather normal esp when U r married?! I also feel how come there are things happen in family but I dunno mah..
3. He said his mum dare not offend me?! I dunno how true is it but I believe its bcos we arent close enough mah. And also I dun think I got anything for her to offend. Basically I tink I am not a too tough to get along person lor.
4. His mum changed which I agreed. She changed alot since I know her, someone who use to be self centre, tink big of herself to now can discuss, talk and actually ask for opinion at times.
5. His mum is diagnoise with Diabietics recently, his dad 's knee had been hurting so much - actual cos remain unknown. Thus he feel that he shld be taking care of them now. Actually the situation of my parents is the same as his, mum with disbietics and dad's knee also been hurting till walk with limp.
And many more examples that he said out without me knowing in the first place but I cant rem now that lead me to think over it...

One thing I know for sure is eventually I will be staying with my in laws. Its a sooner or later thing - when they will get the landed, I dunno. However I got to admit that after the arguement and hearing what he said, its might not be a very bad decision after all. I dun resist it as strongly as before le.. I will just live as days goes.. till the day come.
